Articles / TRAFO Launch Competition:
To launch this Trafo portal, we ran a competition from January till March 2010. All young people were invited to post their articles, photos and videos in these three categories:
- Shout it out- Telling an everyday story about people or things that inspire you. We are looking for alternative ideas off the mainstream happening around you or initiated by you. Or use Trafo as a megaphone and give us your take on issues that no one seems to care about but you.
- Do as I do- There is more to life than just school or work. How you spend your free time, what is your passion, what makes you tick? Publish events and ideas worth participating in. The activities can take place in your city/country but can also be virtual. As long as people can join in a way or another, you’re in.
- How I got from A to B- In this open category, post an original understanding of movement, transition and mobility. It can be physical travel but you can also speak about the movement of ideas. Getting from A to B can also describe the transformation of personality when you faced your prejudices.
Almost a hundred articles, photo stories and videos entered the competition to win one of the five iPods. A jury made up of two journalists, a blogger, an editor and a PR manager evaluated the different postings.
Congratulations to the winners for their great work!
