Polish festival season

by Sasa Petrasova 07.07.2011

The Polish Youth Card is present at the main summer events in Poland including the Baltic Games (July 14-16) and St Dominic’s Fair.

The extreme sports festival Baltic Games takes place in Gdansk - a city in the north of Poland at the Baltic Sea coast, where EURO26 is located. The Baltic Games are becoming a world-class event in a central European country with programme sections including skate, BMX and inline skating. EURO26 in Poland is an official partner of Baltic Games.

St. Dominic’s Fair is the largest open-air commercial and cultural event in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. Every day, the Fair is visited by an average of 70,000 people, whose number usually doubles at weekends. It takes place in Gdansk in August - the EURO26 promotional tent will be situated in the center of town, and several volunteers will distribute 50 000 free “special edition of EURO26 Card”. The card will provide about 10 extra discounts - in restaurants, cafes, ice-cream cafés, fast-foods, pizzerias and amber galleries. All the discounts are “situated” in the area of Old Town in Gdansk, where the St. Dominic’s Fair takes place. The idea of the “ Free special edition of EURO26 Card” is to give young people, who will visit Gdansk, the opportunity to try the Card and enjoy our special discounts during the St Dominic’s Fair.
