My personal experience in Trafo

by Cristina Sirkia 13.11.2009
I am a worker of the Youth Card Association in Andorra. Thanks to this, on spring 2009 I received an announcement from EYCA in which they where looking for young researchers, journalists or youth workers, in order to create this Trafo portal. I applied to the announcement and I was accepted. The project began with a training course in Bratislava. Once the course finished, each of the participants would have to create some articles to start this Trafo portal. The portal is a youth information website, where we can upload articles, videos and photos, on issues that matter to us, such as local projects, travel stories, current happenings, European initiatives and all kinds of topics related to youth.

These are some photos from the training course and it’s participants:

For me, the hard thing has been deciding what information I could share, that would be interesting for other young people in Europe. This is why I thought this article could be a good example. Because it is a personal experience talking about a project made for young people, and about the project itself. My other articles talk about things I know about: visiting Andorra,  Andorra la Vella’s Youth Party Blog.

In my opinion, the idea of Trafo is simply great. A new young web portal through which young Europeans can explain anything which they think might be interesting for other young Europeans. If you want to share youth information interesting for you: this is the way.

Here in Trafo, you can see what other young Europeans are worried about, what interests them, find projects that are organised in Europe... and all those things we like to talk about.

And now you can join in too!!! Not only can you share your knowledge and worries with the rest of Europe, but you can also win prizes! If you are under 30 years old, European and want to talk about anything that might be of interest to other young Europeans: just join in:

Remember that Trafo will also be in facebook so any information you add, will be quickly shared with all those facebook trafo friends.

So what are you waiting for? I am really looking forward to see all those postings you want to share with us, and how you see things in other countries of Europe!!!
