Music against corruption

by EYCA Office 25.01.2011

Fair Play is a global competition for original songs by young bands (18-35 years) on the theme of anti-corruption. Bands are invited to submit their anti-corruption music videos online from 10 January to 20 March 2011.

The 3 winning bands (as selected by the Fair Play jury) will win a trip to Kenya to participate in the 2nd Global Anti-Corruption Forum and perform live in Nairobi! The band that receives the most online votes for their video will receive a studio session worth $2000!

In April 2011 young leaders representing youth-led organizations working against corruption, young journalists, and musicians will come together in Nairobi, Kenya.
The interactive and collaborative forum will provide a space for young leaders to interact: to exchange experiences, learn about new ways to fight corruption, and formulate action plans to fight corruption as a Global Network.
Get ready Nairobi – the Fair Play Anti-Corruption Youth Voices winners will be there, and will be performing live at the Sarakasi Dome!

Fair Play is an awareness-raising program and network building effort to connect socially conscious artists and citizens worldwide, brought to you by JMI, the World Bank Institute and the Global Youth Anti-Corruption Youth Network.
