Join young people from Spain and other European countries for a week-long leadership programme with the European Youth Card in Aragon (Spain).

This leadership program is designed for young people between 14 and 17 years old who have an interest in the world around them and want to know a bit more about themselves, while acquiring tools for personal development.
It’s important to know that the program will be held entirely in English with native instructors and facilitators of the language.
The program is perfect for young English learners looking for a combination of leisure, sport and education in the amazing natural surroundings of the Pyrenees.

To develop the work based on leadership, every day of the week will focus on a different aspect, among which we propose:

Day 1: WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?
Day 2: TEAM WORK
Day 3: LEADERSHIP IN SPORT
Day 4: LEADERSHIP IN THE COMMUNITY
Day 5: LEADERSHIP IN PLANNING EVENTS


THE PROGRAMME
The first day will be an English test that will be used to do the working groups. The groups will have 15 students maximum.
Each group will receive 3 hours of English classes, by a native speaker and the necessary qualifications to teach English as a foreign language.

The rest of the work day leadership activities, focusing on different aspects already mentioned in the thematic. Also, there will be multi-adventure sports, gymkhanas, etc. that “Quinta de Vista Alegre Lodge” offers us. These activities are connected with the leadership concepts that they will be working, providing a great opportunity for young people to practice what they learn and work together.

Likewise, each group will work all week on a final project that they will prepare from a focus group work and leadership. The final project will consist of an activity that each group has to prepare for the rest of his teammates. An example would be the development of nocturnal activity each day.

THE TEAM
•    1 activity director, a Spanish and English bilingual
•    3 English native teachers with qualifications to teach English as a foreign language.
•    3 expert monitors and facilitators from english countries in each workshop that make up the course.
•    The total ratio is 1 adult program manager for every 8.5 participants.

THE MATERIAL
•    Selected by the Director of Studies.
•    Audiovisual and written material (videos, photocopies, posters, etc.)..

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES
•    Total immersion in English
•    Team of native English teachers and a bilingual manager
•    Textbooks and teaching materials and activities
•    Full board at the Youth Hostel "Quinta Vista Alegre" in Pueyo de Jaca (Huesca)
•    Transportation from Zaragoza and Huesca.
•    Accident and Liability Insurance
