Tongue Stories - tickle us with your tales!

Has knowing other languages opened doors for you, made a difference in your life? How? The Tongue Stories competition is looking for your story! The best stories will be rewarded with a free trip to Brussels.

You can send your contribution - video, audio, illustration, text - in any of the 23 official languages of the European Union: Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovene, Spanish and Swedish.
However, the content of the story may refer to any other language, not just European languages.

Vote & Win!
During the public voting round, individuals may vote for the contributions of their choice. Three of the public voters will win a free trip to Brussels. Online voters can vote for contributions from any country including theirs (e.g. a German can vote for a Greek entry). However, they can only vote for a maximum of three contributions.

The competition and the public voting are open until January 31, 2011.
