The European Youth Card in Aragon, Spain offers you the unique opportunity to learn English while participating in a week-long course on film and culture.

Dates: From August 27 to September 2, 2011
Age: From 18 to 30 years
European Youth Card price: 350 €

During this program, you will have the opportunity to discuss the topic of multiculturalism through different films, chosen for their relationship with the topic.

It’s important to know that the program will be held entirely in English with native instructors and facilitators of the language.

The program is perfect for young English learners looking for a combination of culture and leisure in the natural surroundings of the Pyrenees.

To develop the work based on the central theme of multiculturalism, every day of the week will focus on a different aspect:
MY OWN CULTURE
; OTHER CULTURES
; THE INTERCULTURAL SPACE
; CULTURAL ISSUES
; THE IMPACT BETWEEN CULTURES


PROGRAM
The first day will be an English test that will be used to do the working groups. The groups will have 15 students maximum.
Every night, starting from the day of arrival, we will watch a film that will guide the work the next day.
Everything seen through the prism of multiculturalism will help the participants to express themselves in English and acquire confidence in that language. Presentations are done individually and in groups.

THE TEAM

•    1 activity director, a Spanish and English bilingual
•    4 monitors and facilitators of expert English-speaking countries in the workshops that make up the course

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES
•    Total immersion in English
•    Team of native English teachers and a bilingual manager

•    Full board at the Youth Hostel "Quinta Vista Alegre" in Pueyo de Jaca (Huesca)
•    Transportation from Zaragoza and Huesca.
