SO.......I recieved my European Youth Card in the mail today and I was absolutely ecstatic...Ok, this might not be a big deal for other people but to me it is. I just love Europe, the continent has its flaws but there's just this superbly refined element found in all European countries that intrigues me. It provokes me with a subtle poke. It grips , captures me and never lets go...the culture , the people, the way of life it captivates me. I admire the cooperation of EU Nations; yes they may have internal squabbles but in my opinion they always project a strong and resilient front. If you're an EU resident then you probably will not appreciative what you have , at times you may take it for granted...but I speak from the outside looking in......I love my own country, Indeed I do....but Europe has got me......I love the Continent , I love the nations ...I just love the way you can cross a border and hear an eclectic hybrid of two languages....... Distinct and remarkably diverse ways of life are offered ; there are cities, countries large and small; modern and quaint......................Ok I should stop....... My main point is my Youth Card has in some weird way served to strengthen my bond with the Continent that I love and admire so very much.
