Europe Pay it forward

by Momchil Stanishev 08.03.2010

Most of you probably know what the expression "pay it forward" means. It is used to describe the concept of asking that a good turn be repaid by having it done to others instead.

I was inspired to take part in that competition by the movie “Pay it forward”.

My idea is to establishment an unofficial movement “Europe Pay It Forward”. The aim will be to bring people, ideas and activities together for the well-being and the sustainable development of our planet. Nowadays, when the Earth is threatened by global warming, ecological problems, pollution, disasters, caused by the human interventions, the citizens should react and be more active than the politicians.

One of the key tools for reaction is the awareness. We need to PAY FORWARD the awareness to our colleagues, relatives, friends, etc. Why not to advice someone, that it is better to use his/her bike, instead of car for short distances; why not to influence others not to pollute the nature; why not to use in clever way the electricity; why not to help victims from disasters, tornados, floods etc.

This is our chance to save the nature and the planet for the next generations. Just pay forward the awareness and react.
