Everyone is invited to submit a design proposal for the medals that will be awarded at the first Winter Youth Olympic Games taking place in Innsbruck, Austria from13 to 22 January 2012.

Assignement: create a design for the front side of the medal in its gold, silver and bronze versions and submit the design accompanied by a brief written description.

The prizes: a VIP trip for two to the Innsbruck 2012 Youth Olympic Games, including flights, hotel accommodation and entry to the Opening Ceremony and competitions and a replica of the winter Youth Olympic Games medals.
Promotion will be made around the winning design giving recognition to the designer and his/her work in connection with the first Winter Youth Olympic Games edition.

From 4th May until 30th June there will be a public vote that will decide the best 10 designs to be judged by a special jury that will select the winner.

Deadline to submit entries is 29 April 2011.
