2011 EU China Year of Youth

by EYCA Office 12.01.2011

In the beginning of January, the 2011 EU-China Year of Youth was officially launched by the European Commission and the All-China Youth Federation. The German Olympic gold-medal winning fencer Britta Heidemann is the Goodwill Ambassador of the Year.

To read more about the activities during the year, please check their website.

The joint action plan for the Year of Youth underlines the importance of a strong mobilisation of young people, youth organisations and other actors active in the youth field at all levels for a wider impact of the Year of Youth.

In this context, the name and the logo of the Year can be used for events, projects and activities taking place between 1 January and 31 December 2011, which contribute significantly to achieving one or more of the above-mentioned objectives of the Year.

If you have a project, event, activity or any other initiative which supports the objectives of the 2011 EU-China Year of Youth, you are welcome to use the logo of the Year.

For more information, please consult the webpage of the European Commission and of the European Youth Forum.
